Process Review of National Socioeconomic Registry Update Phase – I Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) 

Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is a flagship social safety net program initiated by the government of Pakistan to cushion the negative effect of food, fuel crisis and inflation. BISP provides eligible families with unconditional cash transfer on quarterly basis. Inventure in collaboration with Associate in Development is undertaking process review of National Socioeconomic Registry Update Phase – I. The survey will be conducted in 16 districts across Pakistan including AJK and Gilgit Baltistan. The survey will provide updated information on socio economic characteristics, profile of households, reduce errors and estimate the current status of welfare and poverty of households. The computer assisted Personal Interviewing along with android based technology will be used for the survey. The overall objective of the assignment is to analyze the rationality, consistency and coherence between the survey conception methodology, execution, monitoring and reporting. The process review will also assess as to how the human capacities, systems, plans and procedures are blended into the overall survey design to achieve the desired results. Inventure is managing field force of around 70 field monitoring officers and field supervisors.
